Biostream completes £1 million funding round

Biostream has successfully completed a £1 million funding round, securing additional investment to accelerate the deployment of its battlefield medical platform and advance its mission to build the defence data layer for human survivability.

The funding will support operational deployments in Ukraine, expand clinical data collection and validation, and accelerate the development of AI models that advance the state of the art of battlefield medicine.

In a statement, the company said: “This marks an important milestone for Biostream. The support of our investors enables us to accelerate product deployment in real-world environments while continuing to build the technology needed to improve casualty survivability in defence and emergency medicine.”

The completion of the funding round follows a period of significant progress for the company, including partnerships with Ukrainian military medical organisations, selection for Phase 2 of the U.S. Defense Innovation Unit's AI-Assisted Triage & Treatment Prize Challenge, and continued expansion of Biostream's battlefield medical data platform.
