Biostream enters final phase of prototype manufacturing ahead of deployment in Ukraine

Biostream has entered the final phase of prototype manufacturing for its wearable battlefield monitoring system, marking a significant milestone in the development of the company’s technology.

The first operational units are scheduled to be deployed to Ukraine in the first half of 2026 through an exclusive partnership with medical forces operating on the front lines. The deployment will enable real-world testing of the system in one of the most demanding operational environments for battlefield medicine.

The Ukrainian battlefield has become a global proving ground for new defence and medical technologies, with rapid innovation driven by the urgent need to reduce preventable deaths and improve the speed of medical response.

The initial production run will focus on validating the device’s performance under real combat conditions, robustness, and integration with existing battlefield medical workflows. Insights from the deployment will guide further iterations of the hardware and software platform as Biostream prepares for broader production and international adoption.
